Dysynni's Adrian Bailey continued to dominate the North and Mid Wales Cross
Country scene as he claimed his third victory in four races of the Majestic
Travel North Wales Cross Country League.
Wrexham was
the venue this time and running over four laps, Bailey claimed the prize scalp
of Chris Davies (Telford) by 6 seconds in a winning time of 31.33mins.
Other Bro
Dysynni finishers in the male section were Nigel Evans in 40.12mins, Huw
Harrison in 41.32mins, John Nolan in 45.12mins and Barrie Jackson in 48.20mins.
The Dysynni
ladies outnumbered their male counterparts in their race, with the six
finishers being Glenda Davies in 25.58mins (1st female over-35), Andrea Goode
in 26.19mins, Brenda Jones in 28.15mins (1st female over-55), Debbie Evans in 30.35mins,
Marjorie Griffiths in 31.44mins and Yolanda Marconi-Nolan in 33.41mins.
Two Bro
Dysynni athletes headed to Helsby on Sunday to join a field of 1,800 in the
Four Villages Half Marathon.
First home,
setting a course record was Malcolm Mason in 1hr 05.45mins, with the Dysynni
duo being Colin Evans, home in 1hr 36.47mins and Andy Unwin, home in 1hr
52.07mins.
